Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a touch-based process that combines yoga postures, practitioner presence, and client-directed dialogue. The use of yoga postures serves to facilitate awareness of the body, particularly the connection between one's internal responses and movement or holding of tension in the body. Practitioner presence is created through non-judgmental witnessing within a comfortable and safe environment. Client–directed dialogue can enable one's ability to integrate or articulate one's experience, in the moment.
